On December 20, 2012, EPA signed FINAL revisions to the rules pertaining
to Boiler National Emissions Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants
(NESHAPs) for major and area sources, commercial and industrial
waste incinerators (CISWI), and identification of non-hazardous
secondary materials that are solid wastes when used as fuel (NHSM
It has been estimated by the U.S. EPA that the Boiler NESHAP rules
will impact over 200,000 existing boilers and process heaters located
at industrial facilities in the United States. Existing boilers
and process heaters will have only 3 years to comply with the rules
when the revisions are promulgated. Cost impacts of compliance for
a number of the boilers/process heater categories may be substantial.
Trinity Consultants will summarize the FINAL changes to these rules
during this luncheon seminar. Topics will include:
• Updated emissions standards and alternative emissions standards
• Subcategory revisions
• Changes to compliance requirements and compliance options
• Revisions and clarifications to the NHSM Rule
• Notifications and reporting requirements
There is no charge to attend the seminar. However, space is limited,
