About The 2013 Workshop

Join us for the 9th Annual North Carolina Water Quality Compliance Workshop co-sponsored by the Manufacturers and Chemical Industry Council of North Carolina (MCIC) and the North Carolina Division of Water Quality (DWQ).

The 2013 Workshop will provide an opportunity for the regulated community to come together with the staff of the North Carolina Division of Water Quality in an informal setting to develop a shared understanding of the law and regulations that may impact the regulated community in 2013.

Understanding those laws and regulations and the expectations of those charged with administrating them will help your organization develop the most effective compliance strategies and control costs.

All the presenters at the Workshop are from the Division of Water Quality including Ted Bush, the new Deputy Director of the Division. The workshop offers a unique opportunity to interact and learn directly from DWQ staff in an informal setting.

The 2013 Workshop will introduce both experienced and entry level attendees to the topics likely to be the most important for achieving and maintaining compliance in the upcoming year. This year’s agenda consists of topics selected by the DWQ as well as topics requested by members of the regulated community in a January 2013 survey.

There will be plenty of time for questions during each presentation as well as during breaks and lunch. Attendees with specific questions prior to the workshop can also submit those questions to MCIC. MCIC will then provide the questions to DWQ staff anonymously so that they can address the questions during the Workshop.

To submit a question for the workshop, e-mail your question to jim@mcicnc.org.
